Little Elm ISD is announced Thursday Sara Head as the assistant principal for Lakeview Elementary. Head currently serves as a first-grade teacher at Hackberry Elementary, another Little Elm ISD campus. She previously served as a teacher at Chavez before making the move to Hackberry. Prior to Little Elm ISD, Head was a teacher at Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD and has been in public education for seven years. She recently completed her Masters in Leadership Administration at the University of North Texas in May. She is also a participant in Little Elm ISD Aspiring Leadership Institute I, II, and III, a robust leadership institute that has graduated more than 150 Little Elm ISD educators aspiring to be administrators in public education.

“Mrs. Head will be a leader who is student-centered and student-focused,”  said John Wofford, Lakeview Elementary principal. “Mrs. Head has a deep understanding about the work that needs to continue in the classroom to support our students and teachers. We are excited to have her and she is going to be a great addition to our leadership team.”
