Little Elm ISD students have started the year on the path of success. More than 200 students were recognized and celebrated Thursday evening in front of parents, educators, and their peers for the Advanced Placement achievement. Nearly 40 of them earned AP scholar awards of various levels. Every fall, the AP Program, through College Board, recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams. "These students dedicated their time and energy to achieve academic success on AP Exams," said Amanda Ball, Advanced Academics director. "We awarded over $50,000 for achievement on Advanced Placement exams."
Renee Pentecost, LEHS principal said, "There are several designations we would like to recognize as well."
