Little Elm ISD is pleased to announce Karie Kuster as the Principal of Brent Elementary School. She comes to us from Arlington ISD where she served six years as principal for the students of Ruth Ditto Elementary. Prior to that, Kuster spent seven years as an Assistant Principal for two campuses in Hurst-Euless Bedford ISD. Kuster became a campus administrator in 2004 after ten years in the classroom teaching first, second, third, and fifth grades; and upon completion of her Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas.

“I am excited to join with the staff, students, and families at Brent Elementary BE the Difference,” said Kuster.  “My goal is to continue the excellent traditions at Brent Elementary and to help each student realize their full potential.”

"Ms. Kuster is an exceptional instructional leader and comes from a high-performing campus. She shares our vision and belief that all of our kids are all of our kids, and we know she is going to do great things at Brent Elementary," said Daniel Gallagher, superintendent.
