Lady Lobo Softball Team Advances to Round 5

The Lobos continue their historic run as they advanced to Round 5 in the regional finals. Thursday night, they beat EP Chapin in a one-game 5A Region I semifinal series at Lubbock Cooper to advance to the regional final for first time in program history.

Little Elm (30-7) secured the lead early on during the 1st inning scoring three runs on an RBI single from Georgia Heathcock and two-run single from Mikayla Roy. Alyssa Adams drove in a seventh-inning run to extend the lead to 4-1. Pitcher Lauren Lucas struck out 10.

The Lobos will either play Abilene Wylie or district rival The Colony in Round 5.
